Here's to the single life... :)

I recently ended a 4 year relationship which was by far the hardest thing I have ever done in my entire life, so far!
I've been moved out and living on my own for about a month now. Its a very big change. I went from having protection and company to having nothing but me. I really enjoy it until the sun goes down. Once it becomes dark, thats when I wish I lived with people again.

I live in a 3bedroom 2bathroom house that sits on 5 acres out near humptulips, its in the middle of the woods amost. I'm renting from my parents, who are giving me a steal of a deal on the house! :)

I have my kitties with me (Daytona and Lily) and my Fish Edward, yes I did name him after Twilight! :) They make me not so lonely out there. But with work I'm hardly home as it is so its not so bad.

My 2 best friends have been helping me through this whole thing, Cayla and Tricia, without them I would never of been able to be so strong with all of this. I owe them everything for being my backbone and my shoulder through it all. I consider myself a very lucky person to have 2 best friends like them. I LOVE YOU GIRLS.. :)

okay, I should get back to work now. this was a very short and odd blog I know.. :)

vitamins....

I am not a huge fan of vitamins at all. I would dread taking them every morning.
Cameron and I where both taking a "one a day" multi vitamin for awhile for a few months. It was terrible my stomach would be all nauseous for hours after I took it, it was just miserable. The same for Cameron and I needed him full force at work. I couldn't stand making him take his, I hated him feeling sick at work, his job is more intense then mine! :)
Anyways, after a couple months I just threw them all away and we started taking just a Flinstone children's vitamin. I read that those really don't have all the nutrients we need so I started doing more research online trying to find an adult vitamin that wasn't a huge pill and that would give us all the vitamins and minerals we need in a day.
I stumbled upon Slice of Life by Hero Nutrition.
Gummy Vitamin for Adults, who knew! :)
I bought the multi Vitamin, Vitamin C, and a Energy Vitamin. BEST INVESTMENT EVER.... :)
They are amazing. I take all 3 gummies everyday and it's awesome. They taste really good. just remember they are not candy. Only 1 of each per day! :)
I feel amazing. My stomach doesn't hurt, I'm not tired at work anymore, and I have lost 7 lbs in like 2 weeks because I'm actually getting my vitamins, and they are actually helping my digestive track and my appetite.
Instead of just chocking down a huge pill that sits in my stomach and doesn't absorb hardly, I actually read that vitamin pills don't absorb into your system as well as chewable... So its wonderful. I'm so glad I found these!!!
If your not a vitamin person I would strongly recommend these.... :) you can get them at GNC.

I just felt like sharing today! have a good day!

Because it has been awhile.

I have been kind of slacking in the writting department lately. I'm so busy with work lately that I have no real time to do anything.

My schedule as of lately is as follows:
6:45am- hit alarm clock and sleep until 7
7:00am- get up & make sure Cam is getting ready for work
7:15am- breakfast & make Cam's lunch
7:30am- work out
8:15am- get ready for work
9:45am- WORK
Lunch where ever I can fit it in, if I can..
between 7:00pm and 9:00pm finally going home.
11:00pm or midnight going to sleep
Then repeat!
5 days a week, sometime 6.

I'm so exhausted. I'm ready for a break.

On a different note,
we've givin' away all but 3 of our 6 kitties. We have one kitten left that needs a home, the other 2 we are keeping.
Bandit (cameron's kitty) and Daytona (mine).
They are to srtinkin cute, when I have new pictures of them I will post them. Bandit is male tabby and Daytona is a female striped both are dark brown, black, white, and tan.

I finally after a few months of waiting got my hair the right colors.
It's seen its share of crazy over the last few months, with the first huge mistake that happened to the oddly colored pinkish, brownish, black that I have had for since Feb.

It's finally all back to a natural black/brown color with very subtle carmel and blonde highlights I love it. :)

I have the new monthly treatment to experiment with tomorrow. I really enjoy creating the monthly specials that we offer, I extremely enjoy being able to be the one who puts them all together and makes to recipes up! :) It's alot of fun to create new facial masques and body scrubs in the scents and textures you like. In the end when you see how much a client enjoyed the treatment that you spent alot of time creating and whipping up, its a joy! :)
I truely love working in a spa, I'm just over the customer service part. :) I really just want a creating job, behind the scenes type deal! Maybe one day.... I can dream right? :)

I'm getting a little busy here now so I think I will wrap this one up now...

Beyond Bizarre....

My birthday is next thursday and I wanted to do something really fun, since we no longer are able to make take our trip to Vegas for the time being.. :( Stupid work!
anyways, I started looking up fun things to do in Portland, Or on Google. It gave me all these different eating areas, malls, tourist shops and walking tours.
I clicked on the walking tours and came across this...
http://www.portlandwalkingtours.com/tours/beyond_bizarre.php

Take a loook, its worth your time if you into all that supernatual stuff. :)
I love loooove the Show Ghost Hunters. I've always wanted to have a supernatural experience. I really thought I was going to have one last month when Cameron and I went to Port Townsend and went through the old forts. Some of the places we climbed into seriously felt like a place where ghost would hang out! Really!!

Anyways, I know, its a strange and very odd expereince to want to have but, hey I have the right to enjoy whatever I want no matter how strange it may seem! :)
I don't judge people for what they have interests in... It seems fun and dang it, I'm going to do it! :)

I asked Cameron last night if we could do something fun for my birthday, he asked me what I wanted to do, and I told him, thinking he would be like "Danielle, that is the dumbest thing you have ever thought of wanting to do." He actually said yes without any doubt. :) I was shocked!
I guess that really does mean we where ment to be if he'll go on a paranormal tour at 10pm with complete strangers in a town we don't hardly know! :)

I'm so lucky!!! :)

Oh yeah, if I buy my tickets online ahead of time, when we get there we get to carry around one of those voice recorders to try and capture spooky sounds! I CAN'T WAIT... :)

Until after my tour....................

Tattoo.

I got my very first and ONLY tatto tuesday evening at 6:30.

"One Step at a Time" written in my friend Shan's hand writting, I had her write it on my foot, as did Cayla, she got one too.

Anyways, about a year ago when I went to AZ to be with Cayla while he gave birth to Allie I met her's and her husband's room mate Shan, I instantly fell in love with her, she is the greatest person. :)
We all decided to get this tattoo together then, we didn't. Shan did though, she got her's after I had come back home.
Cayla and I flew to TN to see her in October before she left for Iraq. She had been in Iraq for a few months now being a hero an all.
She came to WA to spend her R&R with Cayla and I and in a few days she will be meeting up with her Fiance who happens to be in Iraq as well.
While she has been with us the last few days. it's been a ball. I will miss her very much when she leaves to go back over seas.
So, Cayla and I went last night and got our tattoos. Now all three of us have it on our foot, all a little different but on the same foot.

Let me tell you, who ever says getting a tattoo is not painful either has an EXTREMELY high pain level or is flat out lying. :)
That was the most painful 2 minutes of my life, burning needles being drug through the skin is dead on for the feeling. I didn't cry or pass out though, so I did good! :) I just couldn't watch!

I will post a better picture blog of all our tattoos together at a later date, and a blog of Shan's visit as well.

DisneyLand or Las Vegas?

The always dreaded question, where would you like to go on vacation? no, where would you like to go on vacation..... and so on!

Las Vegas..

I have always wanted to go, always always...

But, then I started working at a Casino and realized how much a can't stant them, and now Cameron can't hardly stand them only because he has stood by the past 2 years I have been here listening to me complain and watching everything that has been going on.

So I have decied if we go to vegas, we're not in it for the gambling, there are PLENTY of things to do in Vegas.

We can go indoor sky diving, Watch Cirus De Ole, go to the Stratosphere, take a walk the strip... ect ect ect.... the list goes on and on.

With all the beautiful lights and wonderful shopping centers, good food and entertainment why wouldn't I just automaticly pick Vegas as the perfect birthday destination?

Becasue I have a second option...... :)

DISNEYLAND................

I am a Huge HUGE roller coaster fan. If we went to Cali, there are many, many theme parks we can visit.

Knotts Berryfarms... Six Flags Magic Mountain.... Six Flags Hurrican Harbor.. Sea World.. Disneyland. All the rides, all the ROLLERCOASTERS... Aaahhh! I want that too. I want it all :)

But, I do need to be practical and both would just be way to much money for us right now. So, back to the reason I'm writting. I'm stuck in a the vacation blender of decided which place and what fun things to dooo..

The reason we're even going on a vacation is well, for my birthday. But, also because we just need a break. It's been 4 years the furthest we're gotten away is to Port Townsend. The only real small vacation we took was to Seattle for 3 days. We just need some us time. No work, No dog, No cats, No room mate just Me and Cameron a hundred miles from here... Sounds like a good idea to me... :)

Now, back to my decision making.. :) ini mini miney moe

Blog # 2. Port Townsend

I'm soo soo upset, I lost my camera the MORNING of our trip! :(

I have never been to Port Townsend so I didn't know what to expect. It took us nearly 3 hours to get up there, thank goodness it was nice weather.
We got into town, and tried to find our hotel, we drove past it atleast 3 times before I looked up and saw it on a hill. Our room wasn't ready so Cameron really wanted to go Fort Worden an old army fort. So we get there and there are a ton of people, we walked all over this old fort and climbed through all these old rooms that were all dark and wet. Good thing I had a flash light in my car. :)
We went down to the water and it was so beautiful, the waves where calm and it was just really nice out.
We then started to explore these hills that have hidden bunkers all through them, we found a couple here and there and after walking like 7 miles we found some that no one was at but us.
There was this one where the only way in was to slide through this 2x2 square hole that was half way up the wall. Cameron went through first then I slid through.
If you ever saw ghost hunters on SCIFI you would understand what this hiddne room was like.
I'm completely sure that if there are ghost in this place, they would live in this bunker. It was soo dark I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. Cameron went up this man hole and left me down on the ground with no light, it was amazinly scary.. :) But I'm into that kind of scary stuff. I LOVE exploring no matter where it is.
We finally got back to our hotel around 5ish, took a quick nap then got ready for dinner.
We had reservations at this really nice place. We got there 15min to 9. We didn't get seated until 10:00!! It was a 4 course meal, we had small appitizers, a salad, dinner and desert.
We didn't stay to share our desert we got it to go since it was going on 11:30ish by the time our dinner was all done.
All in all it was a really nice weekend. We came home and played with the new kitties, and just hung out with Samuel.

Now I'm back at work, wishing I was back in Port Townsend...
Here are a few pictures from the trip, I had to use my Camera Phone. Good thing the Voyager had a good camera..

Kittens...

Well friday even while I was packing and getting ready for Mine and Camerons Port Townsend Weekend. I hear a knock on the bathroom door. Cameron says in the cutest voice, uhh if you not busy, I think Taffy is having babies, all I can hear is screaming.. :)
So I opened the door and followed him to the living room, he had put taffy out in the sun-room, that's her's and oaks bedroom. Anyways, I opened the door and sure enough she had 3 little babies sitting in front of her. I got her box that we had ready for her, put some towels in it, and asked Cameron to help me move mommy and babies to the box, we moved her and put her in the kitchen.

Cameron and I left for our weekend, came home on sunday and this is what I found.. :)

5 little babies.
2 are tabby just like her.
2 are zebra striped gray and black with a little orange
1 is all grey with a white strip on it's tummy..
If you are interested in a kitty, it will be atleast 6 weeks before I can give them away, but it you are interested please let me know.. I can only keep one.

Valentines.....

So Cameron and I have never really done anything for valentines day before, besides the gift giving..
anyways, last night on our way to walmart Cameron surprised me with weekend getaway in Port Townsend.. :) I have never ever been before and I've always wanted to go up that way.
So I made our dinner reservations and hotel reservations.. I know, you thought when I said he surprised me with it that meant he did all the planning for it. No.. :)
I spent all morning calling every place in Port Townsend and I finally found a nice place that had a room open, then I snagged up the last dinner Reservation they had the fine dining place, Ts-Restaraunt. They are having a set 4 serving meal. appatizers, salsd or soup, dinner, and one desert to share.. :) I'm sooo sooo excited I bought the most gorgeous dress off of victoria's secret.. I love that store so much, its my favorite.... :) They keep upping my Cretit Mard, they must love me because I keep paying if off all the time..
I have to go buy Cameron some nice clothes for this weekend. The restaraunt has a dress code. :)
I can't wait to go up there and take beautiful water pictures from our room.. :)
Hopefully the weather is nice enough...
Anyways, I'll post another blog after this weekend.....

Beautiful hotel, wonderful food, gorgeous place, never know what might happen.. :)

It's 24 minutes after 11:ooam and no one is here with me yet, so hopefully no one does show up so I can go home and enjoy my white yard and let Oak out to play in it.. :) Maybe take some pictures it's been awhile since I've done that.
anyways here are some pictures from about 10 mnutes ago outside my windows... :)

While being bored...

This is just going to be a bunch of random thoughts.... :)

Tomorrow I have my appointment to get my taxes done at h&r block. I'm pretty excited to get them done, I'm hopping that since I can deduct school this year I will be getting a hefty chunk back. Cameron gets 1200. Lucky him!!

But then again he also made basicly double what I made, so he has the upper hand.

"fingers and toes crossed" I'm hoping he goes to take his test soon. He told me he would, he promised his parents so heres to hoping that, that little miracle goes through.

With him having been layed off for the last what 2 months almost and me having to pay all the bills things where getting a little tight for me.. The only thing that saved us was his unemployment checks he got each week and the fact that we had saved up for a little while, he did have a some notice he was going to be layed off for awhile! But, we are over that little hump now, he's back to work and hating that his vacation is over.. :) HA!

On to a differnt subject.

I have decided that I'm going back to having pink and blonde in my hair. I really miss it.. Or purple, I really liked the purple I had in my hair too.. :) Its such a hard choice to make. I like having just a single color hair but I get tired of it after awhile. I'm addicted to dying my hair, its my only addiction. Right now with my hair being black brown with 2 inches of chocolate brown grow out, I'm completely ready to change it up a bit..

I like these pictures of hair so far...
what do you think??

okay I'm going back to work now.. :)

lately.....

I have been pretty lazy lately with my blog, I guess thats when happens when you don't have the internet at home..
Alot of interesting and new things have happened in the last few months, let me list them... :)
1. We moved out of 2 bedroom 1 bathroom beach house that was 2 minutes from my work and 6 from cameron's, to a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house 5 minutes out of hoquiam on highway 109. We love our new house, its alittle more farmy then I wanted but I will adjust non-the-less. There is plenty of room for Oak to roam around, she loves the woods. The boys have more room for thier trucks and cars. 3 people and 6 cars, only 1 of them belongs to me!!!
2. We found that if the highway freezes they sand most of it, but then won't go down our road.... Our raod stayed iced over and snowed in forever after the snow stopped. The plow pushed all the snow until my drive way, like it wasn't hard enough already for me to get in and out, but then I had to try and move the 2 foot high frozen snow wall.. We don't have a shovel!! I have to use a RAKE.. The mail man laughed and asked me what I was doing? LIke it wasn't obvious. :)
3. I started looking for a play mate for oak. :) I found one, he was super adorable and so friendly. He was Lab and Shepard mix, 2 years old, 70lbs he was a BIG boy... I found him at the Animal Shelter in Aberdeen. He was beaten and abondoned to die when they found him. They made him healthy again, I adopted him and when I got him home, we found out he hates guys, which is a problem since I live with 2. I so wanted to keep him, Cameron tried to work with him, it just didn't work. So on christmas morning of all days, I had to return him. I sure hope he has found a nice home by now. :(
4. I'm starting my new healthy life style. We've decided to get our Y membership, and we're going to start taking morning classes. I'm going to be taking the Zumba Class and a Spin Class from 5:30am to 6:30am, I'm hoping the early morning thing will really help me during the day. When I just sit at work with not much going on I get so tired, I'm hoping this helps.. Plus it about time I get back into shape. :) I've become prone to the lazy life...

I think thats all to my list. I should get back to work now.. :)
