"One Step at a Time" written in my friend Shan's hand writting, I had her write it on my foot, as did Cayla, she got one too.
Anyways, about a year ago when I went to AZ to be with Cayla while he gave birth to Allie I met her's and her husband's room mate Shan, I instantly fell in love with her, she is the greatest person. :)
We all decided to get this tattoo together then, we didn't. Shan did though, she got her's after I had come back home.
Cayla and I flew to TN to see her in October before she left for Iraq. She had been in Iraq for a few months now being a hero an all.
She came to WA to spend her R&R with Cayla and I and in a few days she will be meeting up with her Fiance who happens to be in Iraq as well.
While she has been with us the last few days. it's been a ball. I will miss her very much when she leaves to go back over seas.
So, Cayla and I went last night and got our tattoos. Now all three of us have it on our foot, all a little different but on the same foot.

Let me tell you, who ever says getting a tattoo is not painful either has an EXTREMELY high pain level or is flat out lying. :)
That was the most painful 2 minutes of my life, burning needles being drug through the skin is dead on for the feeling. I didn't cry or pass out though, so I did good! :) I just couldn't watch!
I will post a better picture blog of all our tattoos together at a later date, and a blog of Shan's visit as well.
